Well One of the things I love about blogging is that it gives you the opportunity to make money and live the dream of working for yourself.

Freedom is a good thing, but to many blogger’s think that it’s easy to make it from blogging.

Only to later realize that it’s not that easy and what do they do DROP THERE BLOG.

This is one of the biggest problems

That’s why you have to love to blog.

Let me tell you my story:

When I started blogging was when I read johnchow.com’s blog and he inspired me to blog. and make money from blogging.

I have tried doing affiliate marketing but never really liked it even if it can make you a ton of money. I do make money online but from regular websites.

So what I did next changed my life. I said let me start blogging about making money because i make money online and offline. and the people in this niche are all very cool people that I if we were neighbers I think we would have been friends. So I started my blog thegeekboys.com

It’s been very hard on me because I never realized alot of things i Know now.

One advice i can give anyone who is starting a blog is that networking is very important and don’t burn any bridges.

That’s exactly what i did wrong when I started this blog. I burned alot of bridges with all the big guys and know I have a bad name for myself.

All I do all day in this blog is try to get people to believe anything I say because my word is gone by burning bridges.

So I decided to change everything once I got into an accident and I changed the blog theme and The blog Idea.

That’s why I got $10,000 to invest into this blog It’s been 2 months since I started and only spent $400 dollars why because I decided not to spend it all on this blog because it has a bad name so I bought a new domain and bought a new blog design and Know I getting started to start a new blog that you will love

So now you know what’s been happening with this blog

placemyproduct.com a great buy

Just finished doing some advertisement from placemyproduct.com a auction site for advertising. It’s pretty cool because you can get great deals for some good website advertising space.

One of the best thing’s about finding web-pages that are just starting out. Is that you know that there are alot of great deals.

Fact 1: they did spend alot of money advertising so there will be alot of deals.

Fact 2: then you know that there are not alot of people who know about the site. This something good less competition

So we found 2 great deals that would of cost me alot more then what I paid.

First deal was 1 month 125×125 ad space from placemyproduct.com for the price of $20 Normally they would have sold this for $50 a month so I saved $30.

I choose them because since I like the website Most likely alot of people will to and as it grows my add will be there growing with them too

Second ad was an ad from blogggingfingers.com I paid $15 for month ad they usually run there 125×125 ads for $50 so I saved $35 by going to placemyproduct.com. I choose them because I’ts a very good blog that’s in my niche And I can definitely learn from them and grow with them.

Now for my stats:

These are my stats right know with out these 2 ads running let’s hope that by me spending $35 on advertising I will get at-least my money back from some AdSense revenue generated by the ads

banner design idea’s

well guys you know I had posted an article about datmoney.com  doing my 125×125 banner button

 
well so you then remember me saying i liked the price.

It cost me one dollar but I had to give a tip of 4 dollars so it came out to be 5 dollars. The only thing I didn’t like was the design .

It was ok but I wanted it a little better. I wanted him to give me some designs first and let me pick from there. But for 5 bucks you can’t ask for a lot so I decided to do it myself and this is what came out .

link baiting - worth it or not

I always ask myself if link baiting worth all the effort.

the other day i was thinking about how i can get the big blogs to mention me in there blog’s because that can definitely help and get me some much needed incoming links. So i was looking for ways to get them when I went to john chows site and they had done a artist rendering of him and he had posted about it. So it worked. I said to myself why didn’t I thinnk about that.

well I had come up with some Idea’s that I had tried and none of them seem to work. so know I have asked myself does link baiting really work or is it better to just coff up the money to advertise in there site.

for a john chow plug it will run like $300 to $400 just for a plug that’s alot of money. I was thinking of spending some money on some link baiting ideas about $100 bucks. So if they worked I would save about $200 to $300 for a plug from a site like john chow.com.

so that’s another example showing that it works. But what if they don’t bite. then what.

I think it is good to first try to establish a relationship with the blog you are trying to bait because that will give you a better chance to get them to bite.

Personally It has not worked because I don’t have a good relationship with the site’s I’m trying to bait. That’s why I’m first trying to build a relationship then I get them to bite.

AdSense Niches - here’s your food

Refurbished laptops is a good niche to start.

The keyword Refurbished laptop is between $.40 to $.66 

 So that makes it a great Buy.

Did you know that margins of a refurbished laptops are a lot higher than on new ones. Every time a new laptop is sold the company selling it only makes about $100 t0 $150 dollars. I should now I own a computer repair company called NERDHELPERS.com. On refurbished laptops the revenue is about %30 to %35 percent. other keywords are good to use to but might not work as well (”used laptops”)

Mix Martial Arts Fight - Atlantic City

Well I went to a ultimate fight in the Trump Taj Mahal.

It was great. Have anybody been to an ultimate fight because it’s a big difference then a boxing match.

I loved it my brother’s girlfriend is a promoter in Atlantic City and she brings in all the good fight matches. She asked me I would Love to go see the fight for Free. I loved it. Ive been to boxing match’s but never a Mix Martial Arts Fight.

I even got back stage pass and got to meet some interesting people. I meet Frank Shamrock cool.

I didn’t Like the fact that you have to provide all the images but maybe that was just with me. Because He told me to  provide him with images so I provided him with all the images he ended up using. I would have proffered if he used some of his images and then some of mine and then gave me some samples to choose from. but for a $1 dollar you can’t complain.

The 125×125 banner was done very fast. that was one of the good things because I myself needed it very fast. After it is done he emails you the banner. I ended up wanting to change something and he gladly did it in a very fast turnaround.

So as for design I give datmoney 7 out of 10

As for service I give datmoney 9 out of 10

as for price I give datmoney 9 out of 10

Make Money Become a Mini Thieve

Well you guys won’t believe this in Sweden the police are looking for a mini thieve.

What this person did is basically put himself into a luggage and then was put into the luggage compartment of a bus when the bus was on it way he opened the luggage he was in and started looking through every-ones luggage.

Then he put himself back into the luggage and just like that he stole MP3 and a camera .

What I guy I have ot give to him. That’s pretty cool.

Strange travel crimes: “Mini thieves” hide in luggage aboard bus

Whenever a friend is going to an exotic destination I tend to think to myself, “I wish I could fit into their luggage.” I am however relatively tall and I think being crammed in a suitcase would be even more uncomfortable than sitting in half of an airplane seat. Some are physically more inclined to fit into luggage, which is exactly what happened last week in Sweden.

Swedish bus line Swebus recently reported that it had reason to believe a group of thieves had crammed one of their smaller cronies into a large bag and stored it in the luggage compartment of a bus. Once the bus was safely on its way, the person allegedly climbed out of his/her hiding space, searched the rest of the baggage and made off with valuables such as an mp3 player and a camera.

Although allegations are unconfirmed, Swebus spokesperson Pia Kråvall did say that, "It is very possible that a small person is being placed in a bag in order to search through the other bags.

Travelers on Swebus have consequently been warned to keep all valuables on them to thwart the "mini thieves; It all goes to show, you never know what someone could be hiding in their suitcase.
