So I have been thinking about johncow.com and whats next with his famous blog.
They been having alot of issues selling there blog. And i think the reason is people have learned that buying blogs is not that good of an idea.
Alot of blogs have been sold in the past and for a hefty amount but the problem is that when you buy a blog you are buying someone else idea’s and personality.
What I’m trying to say is lets say you buy johncow.com for $50,000 you expect to make your money back at-least within a year which is the general rule for buying a website.
So when you bought the blog it was making about $3,000 a month then you started to write and for some reason people don’t really like your opinion and the way you express yourself then the traffic starts going away. another example is if you have been in the industry long enough to see the cow grow from a little blog to what he is now then you know that he had alot of help from his good old friend john chow now the new owner’s might not get sponsorship like that. then what will happen next?
What will happen is that the traffic will die little by little unless you get lucky or really try to get yourself some good as writers. and if the traffic does out so does the money becase you need traffic to make money
One of the easy ways to protect yourself is to get the owner to give you at least a years work of writing or provide you contact info of the blog writer if he himself is not the writer.
I think since alot of the blogs that have been bought before might have lost the owners money or just broke even. Everyone has learned that the buying blog business is not a good bet. remember The Internet is still young so we are still learning how to make-money online and learning from other experiences and everyone seems to not like buying blogs as a profit generating system.
i don’t think Johncow.com will have a problem selling his blog but not for $50,000 maybe more like $25,000 to $30,000 range Just because It is a really good blog.
I’ can’t freak-in believe he sold his site for $50,000 that’s crazy but good for him the site definitely has alot of potential to make alot more money then he was making but I would have never thought he would have gotten so much money.
He just started his blog only a couple of month ago and look at him know wow.
I personally don’t wanna sell known of my blogs because I’m in this for the long run I plan on building a network of blogs that make good money.
It’s important to realize why you blog. Because Once your blog does good you might get tired of blogging, you might try to build in other niches but don’t seem to make it. So what happens next is that you get bored and start wanting to sell you blog.
I personally got into blogging because I’ve always wanted to get into movies And I see blogging as a way to express myself in the media. And if i do good you never know I might just make it in the industry

Well I’ve been crazy busy with my Computer Repair Business Nerdhelpers.com. So I was setting up a restaurant Point of sale system and Since I was there for a long time I got to thinking and realized that Restaurant business is much like the blogging business.
1. To have a successful restaurant you need to have a good looking store
To have a good blog you also need a good looking site
2. To have a successful restaurant you need to have a theme (Mexican , burger themes)
To have a successful blog you need to have a theme (make money online, tech)
3. To have a successful restaurant you need some type of luck
To have a successful blog you need a good deal of luck
4.To have a successful restaurant you need to have good tasting food
To have a successful blog you need to have good content
And there you go, there are so many similarities of a blog and a restaurant but what does this all mean to you?
well if you read books on how to start a successful restaurant and you base those techniques in you blog you will definitely have a better chance of making it.
If you read other make money blogs they all say as long as you have good content you will make it.
It’s hard to believe that but it’s true. What if you go to a restaurant that doesn’t look that good (as long as it’s clean your in good shape) but the food is great will you tell your friends about it and-you will visit the restaurant again.
The same concept goes for blogging if your in the make money online niche and your content is great but your blog doesn’t look that great (as long as it’s readable) then when you leave a comment on another blog and someone follows and visits your site they will read your content, love what you wrote and they will tell all there friends (blog about you) and even subscribe to your feed and revisit your site again. It’s that easy.
The hard part is writing good content.
I’m the same way I have a problem writing good content. So how do you fix this?
Get someone to write your content for you, you could find people on site like sitepoint.com for $7 dollars per post. I personally like to write crappy Post that’s just my style

All I have to say is that’s it’s great for beginners blogs.
If you really wanna make money right off the bat meaning from when you start blogging then you must sign up with this company because they pay low about $5 per post and they have ass many post you wanna do the will give it to you even of you don’t have a PR.
This is great for beginners.
One of the problems with beginner is that they lose motivation because there not making money right away and this is a good site to sign up with to start making some cash you won’t get rich off of it but it’s a start so get off you ass and start making some cash
I love finding sites like these for beginners because when I was learning the ropes I couldn’t find any site that could help me make money like this right away.
