Here is a list of plug-ins any blog will need. Trust me im using them also. These are a must have (so this means you must put them in your blog to make money online and have a successful site).

1. Top Commentators

Adding the top commentators plug-in will encourage your blog visitors to visit often and submit comments to your posts. The reason is because their name and a link to their site will show up on your homepage if they comment enough

If you’re planning on using it within a sidebar widget, you may need to download and install execPHP from http://widgets.wordpress.com/2006/04/10/execphp/

 2. MyAvatars Plug-In

The MyAvatars plug-in will display a users MyBlogLog avatar next to their name whenever they make a comment on your blog.

 3. Remove Nofollow Attribute

In order to assist in motivating your visitors to comment on your blog, you can install DoFollow which is a Wordpress plug-in that will remove the “nofollow” attribute from all of the comments on your blog.

 4. Social Bookmark Plug-In

Create an account with some popular social bookmark services such as http://digg.com and http://stumbleupon.com . Then, install a social bookmark plug-in for your blog This will add a link at the bottom of each post enabling your blog visitors to submit your articles.

 5. All-In-One SEO Plug-In

This is another plug-in which will significantly help you. This pluggin will help you get better search engine ranking

 6. Akismet comment spam killer

This wordpress plug-in comes preinstalled with wordpress and should always be on. To turn on Akismet go into the plug-ins section in your wordpress control panel and activate it. This will stop about 90 percent of all spam comments you receive in a day.

 7. Subscribe to comments 2.0

Subscribe 2.0 adds a “notify me of followup comments via email” button with a check box in your comment section. when a new comment is made in the post if checked they will receive and email notifying them.

 8. Brian’s threaded comments

Brian’s threaded comment plug-in adds a “reply to this comment” link to every blog comment. When you click reply your comment goes right under his.

 9. Executable PHP widget

This plug-in allows you to run PHP codes Inside the sidebar. We spoke about this plug-in in number 1.

 10. Related posts

This plug-in will find other blogs that are related to the post. The plug-in allows you to set how many related post to display and gives you the option for displaying them.

 11. Digg This

This plug-in detects incoming links from digg.com and automaticlly display a link back to the digg post. when a digg is first recognized, an email lets you know that someone has dugg you story. you also get a digg button that displays number of diggs a story received.

 12. Google sitemap generater

the best way to get a site-map is using the Google site-map plug-in. Whenever you update this plug-in a new site-map will be created

 13. Wordpress database backup

This plug=in comes installed with wordpress and provides an easy way to backup your wordpress database

 14. Text Link ADS

This plug-in serves the TLA ads you see under featured sites. To get this plug-in , you must sign up and get accepted by Text Link Ads publisher.

 15. Wpads

WPAds is a Wordpress plug-in for showing and rotating ads in your blog. You only have to define the ad positions and the ads you want to rotate in each position, and WPAds will serve your ads randomly. WPAds can show contextual ads (ie, Google AdSense, Yahoo Publishers Network, etc) and also image banners.

 16. Link a dink

This plug-in replaces words in your posts with anything you want. I use it to replace words with links. For example, if you see my sister’s name, Ashley , anywhere on the site, it will link to a picture of her.

 17. Contact form plug-in

This my friend is a great contact form plug-in and it comes with spam protection. how do you like that. What it does is create a contact form for your blog.

 18. Buy me a beer plug-in

The buy me a beer plug-in adds a donation link at the button of every-post or in the sidebar. Why use this plug-in instead of just a donation button because it is said that the way you ask for a donation can increase the donation amount and how many donations you get

19. Shylock Adsense

Shylock Adsense is a WordPress plugin that allows you to insert Adsense ads on your blog without modifying the template. More then that, you can set it up to show different Adsense ads for articles older then X days (x is the number of days you decide). For example, you can insert a 468×60 ad at the bottom of a new article, and once that article turns 7 days old it will have a more aggressive 336×280 ad blended with the text from the beginning of that article.
